OFFICIAL STATEMENT | MEDICAL DEPARTMENT

The Valencia CF has appointed Antonio Giner Marco as Head of the Club’s Medical Department. Dr. Giner is a specialist in Physical Education and Sports Medicine, with a particular focus on Sports Traumatology. 

He is currently a doctor with the Spanish Footballers’ Mutual Insurance Association and Head of the Sports Medicine Unit at Hospital Quirón Valencia. Throughout his career, he has spent decades specialising in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of football-related injuries.

 With his return to Valencia CF, Antonio Giner begins a new chapter at the Club after previously spending 23 years as part of the medical team, during which he was involved in one of the most successful periods in the Club’s history, both domestically and internationally.
